THIRD GENERATION AT BODEGAS LEZA GARCIA

Bodegas Leza Garcia is a family company located in the village of Uruñuela. It came about as an artisan and traditional business owned by the family Leza Garcia, dedicated to vineyard cultivation and Rioja wine elaboration for three generations.

Our new vineyards are planted in espalier or trellis with double cord system with the objective of improving and modernizing the quality of our wines. Now we exploit 80 hectares of vineyard with averages from 20 to 50 years of age.

Our most famous wine is the Red “Valdepalacios”, it is the first trademark we used for commercialization. It is mostly elaborated with Tempranillo grapes, a little percentage of Red Garnacha that gives it a peculiar aroma and fruit flavour. The elaboration process is de-stemming, and then temperature controlled fermentation in stainless-steel vats. We also commercialise the trademarks “Leza Garcia”, "Arderius", “Vilicus” and “Baron de Villacampa”.
