BARON DE VILLACAMPA 2001 TRIUMPHS IN TEXAS

Baron de Villacampa reserve 2001 wine, is elaborated with a type of grapes called “Tempranillo”, it has obtained a bronze medal in the Wine International Contest 2007, organized by the journal “The Dallas Morning News”.

More than 3.300 wines all over the world took part in this edition. It took place in the Dallas Convention Centre, where 56 judges chose the winner wines. Among all of these wines, we could find 5 Master of Wine and 4 Master Sommelier.

This one was the XXIIIrd edition of this contest organized by the journal “The Dallas Morning News”, which has its roots in daily “Daily News de Galveston” founded on April the 11th, in 1842, three years before Texas was managing to be a part of the United States. Then it starts publishing as the “The Dallas Morning News on October the 1st , in 1885, being like that the company with the more ancient existence in Texas.

The Cellar Leza Garcia is placed in the village of Uruñuela, in the prestigious wine zone of Rioja. It is born under the handcrafted area and familiar tradition, always dedicated to the culture of the vineyard and production of Rioja Wines. It is the reason for belonging to the group of Familiar Cellars of Rioja, PROVIR.
